Thanks gytalf. I'll be sure to check out your gallery. I've seen some pretty good 'superheroines-in-peril' stuff as well. I tend to just draw what seems to catch my interest at the moment and whether or not I can visually see it on paper. I'm also trying to draw stuff that sells for now so I'm hoping I continue to move in the right direction. Most of my stuff on here will be the pin-ups I'm selling on ebay or on my comic art fans gallery.

You have some really great pics in your gallery. I love superheroines! I particularly like the "superheroines-in-peril" genre; my gallery (no pics were drawn by me, I just commission art from people who can actually draw well) is devoted to heroines getting KOed and captured!

Hello, my name is Roland Esteves. I'm a freelance artist that currently focuses on creating Original Art Pin-ups of comic characters, fantasy characters, tv show characters, and the like. Most of my pinups are usually of sexy female superheroes or fantasy characters. They tend to make the best pinups and are usually favorites of pinup collectors.

I started drawing at a very young age and really was influenced by the early comic superheroes of DC and Marvel comics like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Spiderman, the Hulk, X-men, Avengers, etc. It really helped feed my overdeveloped sense of imagination and contributed to my need to draw and express myself through art!!

My artistic influences are many but here's a list of some artists that have contributed to myself in one way or another: John Byrne, Neal Adams, Frank Miller, Boris Vallejo, Frank Frazetta, George Perez, Jack Kirby, Jim Lee, Tod McFarlane to name just a few. I would have to say that John Byrne and Neal Adams are big favorites of mine.

Anyways, I'm looking to showcase some of my artwork and reveal some of the thoughts and work that goes on before, during, and after my creative endeavors.
